ANNOUNCEMENTS:

*Social Distancing: Please help us to keep social distance. Thank you for your patience during these trying times.

The city of El Mirage strongly recommends the use of masks.

*Confession: Confession is before each Mass on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and also after Mass on Saturday and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays.

*Banns of Marriage: The banns of marriage are being announced for the second time for Nicholas Lange and Kirsten Anders. If anyone knows of any impediment to this marriage you are morally bound to inform the pastor as soon as possible.

*Rosary Devotion: We are having simple exposition and reciting the Rosary before each Mass for the month of October. The Rosary begins at 7:30 a.m. on Monday to Friday, and at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. On Sunday, the Rosary is said as usual. β€œOne day, through the Rosary and the Scapular, I will save the world.”  (Our Lady)

*Prayers Requested: Please pray for the sick in the parish, especially Lisa Reiss, Alvin Recla, Pat Kosko, Barbara Emmerson, Helen Kucharski, Christine Patterson, Jessie Gaines, Holly Hightower, Max and Karen Hartman, and Carl Lukkes.

*All Souls Remembrance: All Souls Remembrance cards are in the vestibule. November, the month dedicated to the remembrance of the faithful departed, is fast approaching. Those names which have been submitted and placed on the altar will be remembered at all Masses through the month of November.

*Raffle: 50/50 tickets! First place wins half the proceeds. Second place wins a large, beautiful Catholic Bible. Third place wins a beautiful religious image. Purchase raffle tickets in the bookstore for one dollar. Please help support Our Lady of the Sun Academy!

Out of respect of the Blessed Sacrament, please observe the following standards of dress:

Women and girls must have their heads covered. (There are veils available for loan in the vestibule if you do not have one.) Slacks, shorts, sleeveless, tight, or low cut clothing are not permitted. Dresses and skirts must cover the knee completely when standing or seated.
​
It is recommended that men and boys wear a suit-coat and tie. Jeans and other casual attire are inappropriate for attendance at Church services.
