ANNOUNCEMENTS:*Social Distancing: Please help us to keep social distance. Thank you for your patience during these trying times.

The city of El Mirage strongly recommends the use of masks.

*Confession: Confession is before Mass on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and after Mass on Saturday and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays.

*Prayers Requested: Please pray for the sick in the parish, especially Lisa Reiss, Alvin Recla, Barbara Emmerson, Pat Kosko, Helen Kucharski, Christine Patterson, Jessie Gaines, Holly Hightower, Karen Hartman, and Carl Lukkes.

*Ember Days: Wed., Friday, and Sat. are Ember Days. In addition to the Lenten fast partial abstinence must be observed on Wednesday and Saturday. All those 7 years and older are subject.

*Fast: *Everyone over 21 years of age and under 59 years is bound to observe the law of Fast.

*Easter Duty: The Easter Season lasts from the First Sunday of Lent until Trinity Sunday, June 16. The Easter Communion must be made between the First Sunday of Lent and Trinity Sunday. To willfully neglect one's Easter duty is a mortal sin.

*Distribution of Ashes: Ashes will be distributed after Mass today for those who have not yet received them.

*Confraternity of Christian Mothers: The Confraternity of Christian Mothers will be holding a meeting at 10:30 in the high school classroom.

*Confirmation: Bishop Mark Pivarunas will be coming on Friday, March 19th for Confirmations. If you need to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation or were confirmed in the Novus Ordo Rite, please contact the Sisters.  

*Blessing of Religious Articles: Father will bless religious articles next Sunday.

*Total Consecration: The 33-day preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary will begin today. Please contact the Sisters for a booklet if you would like to renew your Consecration or do it for the first time. Those who have done the preparation will make their Consecration on March 26th.

*Broken Rosaries: If you have any Rosaries you would like to have fixed, please bring them to the book store and Maria Almazan is able to repair them for a donation.

Out of respect of the Blessed Sacrament, please observe the following standards of dress: 
Women and girls must have their heads covered. (There are veils available for loan in the vestibule if you do not have one.) Slacks, shorts, sleeveless, tight, or low cut clothing are not permitted. Dresses and skirts must cover the knee completely when standing or seated.
It is recommended that men and boys wear a suit-coat and tie. Jeans and other casual attire are inappropriate for attendance at Church services.
